Our client Mintres BV is based in Cuijk (the Netherlands) and is a renowned supplier to the High Tech industry and science, the telecom industry and other high-end sectors. Mintres produces semi-finished products for laser diodes, sensors and other advanced electronic components, among others.

Mintres' main activity is the development and production of high-quality ceramic products. The applications are very diverse, from surgical knife blades to heatsinks for the semiconductor industry and ceramic components for research equipment. Mintres owns a range of in-house equipment to constantly develop new products when requested by customers.

Due to continued growth, Mintres is looking for a:

Plasma Engineer (PSE) / Radiofrequency Engineer (RF) (as from 32 hours a week / 4 days)

What will you do at Mintres?
Your main task will consist of R&D work on RF and microwave-driven plasma processes on various tools - sputtering machines, RIEs, IBMs and plasma lasers - used in Mintres' production processes.

Across teams, you will help and support the development of new applications related to Mintres' products. You will have the freedom to develop new applications, investigate and help solve potential problems that arise with existing products. To this end, you will be in contact with both internal departments and Mintres customers. As such, you may certainly visit one of their customers. Most closely you work with the development team and Clive Hall, the global specialist in this field.

 

What do you bring:

  • A master's degree (engineering physics, electrical engineering or related field);
  • Relevant work experience which matches the requested position;
  • Fluent in the English language both verbally and in writing;
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse data from various sources and use this data to drive risk analysis and design changes;
  • Demonstrated skill in executing test and/or validation designs;
  • You are confident and willing to tackle problems or new tasks, rather than complain or give up;
  • You are a doer and a thinker;
  • Material knowledge is a plus;
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary to the Cuijk area (Netherlands).
